About us

Queeramnesty stands for equality, empowerment, and inclusion. We are a group of volunteers fighting for the rights of the Queer Community and supporting LGBTIQ+ Refugees.

What means "queer"?

Queeramnesty Switzerland is part of the Swiss section of Amnesty International. We are about 900 members in whole Switzerland, who are the foundation of our group.
Our group exists since 1997.

SUPPORT WITH A DONATION

We are volunteers relying on your donations to fight for Queer Human Rights and provide help for Queer Refugees.

GENERAL DONATION

General Donations are used for any expenses such as Campaigns, Pride Parades and Stands, Advertising, Website Fees as well as for our LGBTIQ+ Refugees. For example, we buy public transportation tickets, allowing our Refugees to meet their Mentors and to participate in various Queer Events such as Prides.

Raise a Glass to Solidarity Beer Supporting Queeramensty This Autumn 2025

Solidarity Beer for Queeramnesty The Queeramnesty Solidarity Beer is currently available in select bars in Zurich. With every beer sold, 1 Swiss Franc goes to projects that support LGBTQI+ refugees. The collected funds provide our LGBTQI+ refugees access to the queer community and support them during the asylum process, among other things.
