Annett Uehlinger

Together with Livia, I coordinate the sub-group "Focus Refugees" of Queeramnesty Switzerland. My work includes coordinating requests from asylum seekers and other external agencies, supporting volunteers, and conducting training and consultations on LGBT+ asylum seekers in asylum accommodations.

I've been volunteering at Queeramnesty since 2023. Before that, I lived in Berlin for 15 years, where, among other things, I worked in the first accommodation exclusively for LGBT+ asylum seekers. I'm a social worker, and I completed a master's degree in "Social Work as a Human Rights Profession" in Berlin from 2018 to 2021. I now work as a counselor in victim support in the canton of Bern.
